Greetings, 303 families: We received an email this morning from the makers of the Remind app about changes they’re making. Beginning Jan. 28, anyone who is a customer of Verizon Wireless who gets Remind messages as text messages will no longer receive those notifications. Long story short, Verizon is charging Remind a fee for text messages that Remind says it cannot afford.
If this situation applies to you, you can download the Remind mobile app from Apple’s App Store or the Google Play store. Or you can enable email notifications instead. Again, this change only applies if you only get Remind notices via text message and you’re a Verizon customer.
P.S. 303, the individual classrooms and the PTA all have channels on Remind. Sign up here if you’re not on the PTA list!
