This Week: Bake Sale Fundraiser

As we near the end of the school year, please see below for all the great school events planned and other announcements, thanks!

Bake Sale Fundraiser
The school is holding a bake sale to raise funds for the 5th grade graduation! The teachers and staff will be baking all of the goods for the sale so come stop by the school yard tomorrow / Monday, May 24 at 8am and 2:15pm for some yummy treats! Please wear a mask and social distance for safety. Contact the main office if you have any questions.

AEA Return to School Form
The school administration is looking ahead to program classes for the 2021-2022 school year. Please fill out the form (1 form per family) by May 31 to let them know if your child(ren) will be returning to AEA in September 2021.

Please note that Ms. Donna does not work over the summer, and if your child will be attending a different school in September, they will need records from AEA. Letting the administration know your plans now for September will allow them to prepare such information before the end of the school year as well as accurately plan for our own classes for the fall.

Family Movie Night
Get your popcorn ready and join us for a family movie night to kick off this year’s AEA productions! We will be showing “The Greatest Show,” an AEA production from May 2019 on Zoom on Wed, June 2 at 7pm.

A Pride Story Time: “Stella Brings the Family”
The Racial Equity Committee invites you to spend an afternoon learning about Stella’s family with two daddies. They will be reading “Stella Brings the Family” by Miriam B. Schiffer and will have a child-friendly discussion followed by a small art activity. This event will be held on Thurs, June 3 at 4pm, please RSVP here. Please contact the Racial Equity Committee at 303racialequity@gmail.com if you have any questions, thanks!
