We hope all students enjoy their Midwinter Recess next week! The PTA has some fundraisers planned once they return.
The first will be sweet — literally! You will be receiving two catalogs from Miss Chocolate, with items to sell to family, friends and neighbors. In addition to a general catalog, you will receive one with kosher-for-Passover goodies. The sale starts when you receive the catalog and runs until Monday, March 18. Delivery is planned for April 1. There are incentives for students as part of this fundraiser.
Second: It’s Box Tops collection time again! Please gather what you have over the break, and send them in from Feb. 25 to 27. A collection flier will be coming in your student’s folder, or you can find them and a list of participating products on this website.
Third, save the date for March 5! That’s when Chipotle on Austin Street will be donating a portion of its dinner proceeds to the PTA of AEA. But only if customers mention the school. The flier is at the bottom of this post, and will be coming to folders soon, too. Get that guac!
Fourth, parent-teacher conferences are coming up on March 14. And once again the PTA will be having a bake sale to satisfy sweet-tooths and show off our families’ baking skills. Expect to see a Signup Genius after the break. We’ll need help staffing the table, in addition to bringing the goodies, to make this event a success.
