Harvest Parade Recap and What’s Ahead

A huge thank you for the success of the Harvest Parade Bake Sale. It was wonderful to see so many families together, and our students’ and faculty’s costumes didn’t disappoint! (Be sure to scroll down to the end of this message.) The fundraiser exceeded all expectations by a mile. We raised $1,840.50! That’s really the cherry on the top of a fun event. Thank you to everyone who provided the delicious treats, as well as those who helped volunteer at the tables.

A special thanks to the coffee committee — Kiki Blazevski-Charpentier, Shirley Chun, and Michele Molfetta – who got donations from three local Starbucks locations: at Queens Blvd. and 67th Road, Queens Blvd. and 71st Avenue, and 7000 Austin St. If you stop by, let them know we’re grateful that they supported our community.

The PTA also made sure that the families whose classrooms were in quarantine during the main event weren’t left out, by providing coffee and doughnuts before those students’ parade the next Friday.
