Hope everyone is getting ready for summer vacation because it’s the last week of school! Also, we wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads in our school community! A reminder that the whole school is going fully remote this Tuesday, June 22 for Election Day.
We want to celebrate all of our children who went through an incredibly challenging school year! Congratulations to our pre-k students, who are stepping up to kindergarten, to our graduating kindergarteners and a special shout out to our very first graduating 5th grade! We are so incredibly proud of all of you! 🎉👩🎓🧑🎓🎉
As we all close out the school year, we thank you all for your continued support for the school and for the families in our community. It’s been a difficult year for many, and we hope we can all continue to care for and support one another!

Kona Ice Treats!
The PTA would like to kick off summer by treating our students, teachers and staff with a Kona Ice! Kona Ice is a company that serves shaved ice treats from their truck and will be parked in front of the school on June 24!
Racial Equity Committee meeting
The last REC meeting for the school year will be held on Tuesday, June 22 at 7pm. They will be debriefing on the school year and Juneteenth week of activities and look ahead into activities for the new school year. Please email them at 303racialequity@gmail.com if you’d like to attend.
After School Program
The administration has officially announced that the after school program, Wingspan Arts, will not be returning to the school in the fall and for families to look into other alternatives. We know this is not an ideal situation for many families so if you’d like to connect with other families over the summer to discuss ideas for after school activities, please email the PTA at 303pta@gmail.com for a sign-up link.
1st Day School Supplies
If you’d like to order school supplies from 1st Day School Supplies for next year, the deadline is July 1! Please see the previous email for more details.
P-EBT Food Benefit
NY State recently announced that there will be another round of P-EBT food benefits for all families. Families will soon receive up to $1,320 in food benefits to help cover the cost of missed school meals while students learned remotely during the COVID pandemic. P-EBT food benefits will automatically be issued to eligible children. Read more about it in the Governor’s announcement as well as the FAQs.
Amazon Prime Day
Did you know that you can set up your Amazon Prime account so that it contributes a portion of your purchases to the PTA? You can do that by signing up for Amazon Smile! And with Amazon Prime Day officially starting on June 21 at 12 am, there will be some great deals coming up. Thanks to those who have already been contributing to the PTA through Amazon Smile!
