And we’ll start looking ahead to next year by forming a nominating committee for our May election. For the nominating committee: We need three to five members of our community to step forward to help administer the vote at our meeting on May 12. The only requirement is that you’re not planning to run for a PTA office or SLT seat yourself. Otherwise, the nomination committee is a really low-commitment way to help our organization. And we urge everyone to start thinking about how you can help lead our PTA next school year by running for office.
