Mixed Bag Catalog Fundraiser:On Monday you will be receiving our Holiday Catalog fundraiser. We are once again partnering with Mixed Bag Designs, which offers bags, home products and wrapping paper. Sale runs now through 11/9. All invoices can be returned to school on 11/8, 11/9, and 11/10.
By sending in paper order forms, the PTA receives 50% of all orders placed. Since the PTA is tax exempt, you pay no taxes on these orders. The items will be sent home through school on 12/15 or earlier (possibly 12/8), so shipping is also free.
If orders are placed online, the PTA only receives 40% and you are responsible for taxes and shipping. On the other hand this is a good option when out-of-town delivery is needed.
Annual Appeal: Thank you to all the families who have participated in our Annual Appeal, which will fund Ms. Stewart’s salary, RazKids, Singapore Math and the 92nd St Y Program for 1st and 2nd grade, among other things. Approximately 115 AEA familieshave contributed so far. If you have not yet made your voluntary, tax-deductible contribution to the PTA’s Annual Appeal, there is still time to do so!! All families are encouraged to participate within their means. Also, please check to see If your employer offers matching donations.
Picture Day: We had a successful picture day on Tuesday. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made our children look their best. Galley proofs should be ready to be sent home by 11/16.
